The first GreenVulcano Technologies Group company was established in 2001 and its mission was imprinted in its name; the E@I Software was going to deal with Enterprise Application Integration, a booming business at that time.
The two founders, Ciro Romano e Gianfranco Iannello, were working as experienced technicians for several big companies in Italy, such as Telecom Italia, BLU, Q8. The idea of middleware itself was born from the complex Unix-C architectures made by Ciro and Gianfranco to integrate different environment systems.
The sector was rapidly growing and their expertise became an even more valuable resource; founding E@I Software, and starting to exploit that resource, they got to work alongside the most important operators in the italian and international IT market.
With the emergence of Service Oriented Architectures, effectively modifying the models of the application integration, Ciro and Gianfranco have been able to grasp the trend of the market. Some milestones of technological innovation in Italy have been realized also thanks to their contribution. A bright example is the Enterprise Service Bus of Poste Italiane, a complex integration component of all their different software systems.
During these years Ciro and Gianfranco grew a longing for giving birth to their own product and solutions. In 2010 they founded GreenVulcano and finally succeeded: the company is still focused on innovative products and solutions development, such as the IoT Middleware Platform, allowing the integration between Internet of Things objects at both enterprise and consumer levels.
At this moment GreenVulcano Group is a strong enterprise, satisfying both individual and professional clients, doing research and picturing usage scenarios (for example in Health Care and Energy Efficiency fields), without giving up the competitiveness allowed by a simple business structure.
